Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Fulton Freight, LLC ("Fulton Freight", "we", "us") handles information in connection with its internal billing and operations software (the "Application"). The Application is a private business tool used only by Fulton Freight personnel; it is not a consumer product and does not offer accounts to the public.
1. Information the Application processes
- Business records — carrier and vendor profiles, freight documents (invoices, rate confirmations, proofs of delivery, notices of assignment), and payment records needed to operate our brokerage.
- Business contact information — names, email addresses, and phone numbers of carrier, factoring-company, and customer representatives.
- Accounting data — vendor, bill, and payment records accessed through Intuit QuickBooks Online with the company's authorization.
2. How information is used
Information is used solely to operate Fulton Freight's business: processing carrier bills, verifying factoring assignments, issuing payments, sending remittance advice, and keeping our accounting records accurate. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as required to operate the business (for example, transmitting payment data to our bank) or as required by law.
3. Third-party services
The Application connects to third-party services under their own terms, including Intuit QuickBooks Online (accounting) and Google Workspace (email and documents). Data accessed from these services is used only for the purposes described above and is not shared with other parties. Access can be revoked at any time from the respective service's security settings.
4. Storage and security
Application data is stored on company-controlled systems. Access is limited to authorized personnel, protected by authentication, and sensitive values such as bank account numbers are masked in day-to-day views. Third-party service credentials are stored using each service's OAuth mechanism rather than passwords.
5. Retention
Business and accounting records are retained as long as needed for operations and to meet legal, tax, and audit obligations, after which they may be deleted.
6. Your choices
Business contacts who wish to correct or remove their contact information may email us at the address below.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest revision.
